Europe’s leading MMA promotion continue to procure the most exciting talent on the continent, announcing that Welterweight submission artist Adam Proctor has joined the roster on a multi-fight deal.

With top welterweight contenders Craig White and Carlo Pedersoli Jr recently signing with the UFC, Cage Warriors have begun to confirm a number of stellar additions to the division, with Proctor being the most recent name to sign a multi-fight deal and put on the yellow gloves in 2018. With 9 wins against just 1 loss since his pro debut in 2014, ‘The Love Doctor’ is the very definition of a fast-rising prospect and has been turning heads at an increasing rate with recent wins over Sam Boult, Nathan Jones and Ashley Reece.

“We’re always looking to add the highest-level talent in Europe to our roster, and Adam Proctor is a name we’re particularly excited about welcoming to Cage Warriors,” says President Graham Boylan. “There’s a lot of noise being made about Proctor in 2018 already, and we expect that to get even louder as he develops with us.”

Trained by former Cage Warriors champion Alex Enlund at SBG South Shields, Proctor has looked  more and more dangerous with each recent appearance and now returns to Cage Warriors to challenge himself against the toughest opposition in Europe. Proctor’s one professional loss came at CW79 against Aaron Khalid, a defeat which only seems to have spurred him on further toward his goal of reaching the top of the Welterweight rankings.

“We chose Cage Warriors over other promotions as there is the opportunity to face the best Welterweight fighters in Europe,” says Enlund. “The exposure that comes with Cage Warriors fights being shown on BT Sports and UFC Fight Pass will help us increase Adams profile on an international level.

I’m looking forward to seeing him take on the challenges presented by the Cage Warriors Welterweight division. It’s only a matter of time before he’s Cage Warriors World Champion.”

It’s no secret what plans Proctor has for his Cage Warriors run: a dominant and decisive road to the top. Stay tuned for Proctor’s first bout announcement under this new and exciting multi-fight deal, and for more big name signings coming later this month.
